Reel Fine is not a "drift boat" that fishes the same locations days after day or has strict time restraints. A large size center console boat enables us to get out to the "hot spot" rapidly to allow us to cover more water and reach distant fishing grounds with relative ease and comfort.
Rates:
1/2 day charter- $400.00
3/4 day charter- $550.00
Full-day charter- $700.00
We can accommodate up to 4 people
Rates are for the whole boat, not per person.
Gratuity discretionary!
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation required 2 weeks prior to date of charter for full refund. If captain cancels for wind or inclement weather the client will receive a full refund or option to reschedule; client's choice.
* Live bait included when available.*
* At certain times of the year baitfish such as Spanish Sardines, Pilchards, Threadfin Herring, Menhaden and Cigar Minnows become scarce in our area. There are professional "live bait boats" in the Palm Beach and Jupiter area who sell Goggle Eyes Blue Runners for around $80.00 a dozen. It is possible at times to catch our own Blue Runners in and around Palm Beach inlet at the beginning of the charter, but wasting valuable fishing time is not advisable.
The boat is a 28-foot Dusky center console
with twin 175
4-stroke Suzuki outboards. Safety of twin motors offshore is important
and there is no offensive diesel motor smoke to make you sick.
Running a large size center console boat allows us to get to the fishing grounds
rather quickly and enables us to move about and cover a lot of water with
relative ease and comfort.
When fish aboard the REEL FINE you can “get
your hands dirty”. You will not just sit back and wait for Capt. Rob to hand
you the rod. At times, you’ll catch our own live bait using “sabiki” rigs,
ensuring the freshest, most lively baitfish available. Everyone aboard
participates in this “ritual”. You may be asked to steer the boat while he’s
“cast netting” bait. Once at the fishing grounds if required Capt. Rob will
assist you in hooking baits and casting out the lines, but once a fish strikes
“your on your own”. Of course he’ll provide any assistance you require to land
the “BIG ONE”. You control the action. And if sitting back and looking out for
sea turtles, manatee or porpoise is preferred until the fish in hooked, that’s
O.K. too. Either way, you are sure to be part of the action!
Capt. Rob is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, insured and licensed to do business within Palm Beach County.
